The 2020 Hyundai Palisade showcases style, technology, and even a little legroom in the third row.

Three-row crossovers don’t do well with compromise. Prior to the all-new Palisade, Hyundai tried to make do with both the Veracruz and the Santa Fe XL, but these were effectively stretched 2-row vehicles. They didn’t have enough space to hold a growing family, and they didn’t sell particularly well. With the Palisade, Hyundai hopes a little extra legroom will bring in the dollars.
A 3.8-liter V6 engine is the Palisade-shopper’s only option. With 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque routed through an 8-speed automatic transmission, it provides reasonable acceleration. Handling is also impressive, as the Limited-trim Palisade features a self-leveling suspension. Fuel economy comes in at 19 mpg city, 26 highway, 22 combined.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, as do a variety of driver-assistance technologies. Pricing starts in the low $30,000 range. However, stepping up to the Limited trim raises prices to a starting MSRP of $44,700, and all-wheel drive tacks on an extra $1,700 for each trim.

That money 💰 id go honda pilot.
Waiting to pick mine up. Bought the SEL with the premium pkg. Minus a few options that really weren't useful to me and saved about 7-8K.
Got mine two weeks ago great ride in limited AWD trim
Can you do a 2020 blackedition Honda Pilot please??
Hyundai made a three row SUV from 2007 until 2012 — the Vera Cruz. We had 2009 Vera Cruz Limited and it was my wife’s favorite vehicle of all time. When we went back to our dealer in 2104 to get another Vera Cruz we were very disappointed that the vehicle had been discontinued. We have a new Palisade Limited ordered as the supply of these vehicles is very limited unless you want a white or black vehicle. Good review.
Thank you!! I’ve watched about 25 palisade reviews and you are the only (USA review) that showed the ambient lighting!
I got my limited yesterday. Beautiful haven’t even drive my own yet dealership brought it home for me. It’s a beast looking at night with it’s fantastic bright lights.
this car can manage getting rained with bullets and still works fine
We bought the SEL and it's awesome
Nope, no Genesis crossovers will ever be built on a FWD platform. If Genesis do make a FWD platform crossover, it will be smaller than the GV70.
Traded in a (2014) Porsche Cayenne S for the Palisade Limited. I couldn't keep the Porsche because of the sky-high maintenance costs, so I thought I would be disappointed with the new car. I'm not. Not at all! This car does EVERYTHING right and is just the most comfortable, easy vehicle to drive and I am seriously getting 23.6mpg combined with it (I live in a rural area, but do in-town driving every day as well). Can't find anything about it that I don't like. Spent $48,000 on it and feel like I got a bargain.
More I look at US brands and foreign brands they all are doing same thing, slicing models for optimal value. But reality is hardly any of them can be called value. Only few Korean cars are exception because their high quality and long list of standard equipment. I feel everyone is losing except Koreans now days. This car is perfect example. 1 engine choice and it's great engine. 4WD separate option that cost same on all 2WD models. Koreans are slicing their pies well while others are a big mess.
The Palisade offers so much more than the others in its class, like the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Subaru Ascent. We test drove all four of them and found the Palisade to be so much more superior. The Ascent was very noisy with a lot of engine noise intruding into the cabin. And just like the Pilot and Highlander, interiors and seating werer cheap-feeling and underwhelming.
I got mine 3 weeks ago! And it's just amazingly comfortable a lot of the tech and safety features ofcourse got the limited trim!
1:06 Ohhhhhh ma gahd… You should have cut this
Such a great vehicle. I'd take this all day over the Chevy XT6. Intereio blows me away. Just amazing
5:58 To me, this car looks more beautiful than Audi or Merc
Imagine this had their emblem on that grille. No one would question it being their newest model
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🚘🚘🚘
Crap crap crap they made these SUVs cause the general American car buyer wants big stupid road tanks. Now…cars are going bye bye and crossovers are king. Morons
Great vehicle. I agree the shifter design is the only weakness, so I take the Telluride instead which to my eyes look better too. The Hyundai interior is more plush though.
This will probably be my next vehicle.
I think 2020 Ford Explorer can give it a run for its money unfortunately most reviews I've seen complain about the interior quality and although was on a rear wheel drive platform they complain about the third row seat find Headroom for the seat is very low and your knees sit up rather High but all at all I think it's a very competitive package
palisade comes either rear wheel drive or 4wd. no fwd
all cars are Overpriced, especially Japanese cars.
