Hyundai has had three row crossovers before, but they were nothing like the Palisade. This new crossover is the biggest and most luxurious CUV/SUV that Hyundai has ever built. With nearly 8 inches more legroom than a CX-9 or Highlander *and* class leading cargo capacity, the Palisade is the large-and-in-charge crossover big families are looking for. On the inside we see Hyundai’s latest design themes and premium materials which makes the price tag all the more surprising. Although the Palisade is bigger and has more features than a Honda Pilot, it’s notably less expensive. Oh, and it has a long warranty. If you’re 3-row shopping, the new Palisade has to be on your shopping list.

Telluride or Palisade? (Or Atlas). Discuss….
I owned a 2013 Santa Fe XL and it was nice bit always wished it was a tad bigger. This fits the bill perfectly. It's on my list for 2022.
Its interesting that the Qi Charger was active when you also had your phone plugged into the USB port for data. I didn't think that was supposed to be possible.
it's worth every penny!. I don't It's hard to say for cars nowadays. BMW 3 series is over 50k!
I drove one. It’s nice, but it still feels cheap just like all Hyundai’s do.

👍👍👍💞💞💞👏👏👏
Hyundai continually refuse to help on the extensive problems we have had with the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Just search Palisade for interior smell and wind noise on google. You should never need to visit the dealer 4 times for the same problem before you get to 1400 miles. Service engine light for Evaporative Emission System leak. The only thing we requested was an extended warranty. There is a lot of problems with this new model. Corporate assign a representative (Paige) for Case#: 17148959 she was basically useless. She said up front there is not much they will do. From the start I was nothing more then a problem she needed to get off her books. Just recieved a message from her that basically said sorry about your luck. This company may be good in other parts of the world but here in the US they do not stand by their product.
Im in the market for a new SUV and the Palisade looks real aggressive and fun to drive. would you buy one? I test drove one last week and am seriously considering it
Skip to 10:37 to see why this is THE ugliest vehicle on the market. Eeek. That dash.
Buyers will want to check the ratings/reviews of the tires being installed by Hyundai. I got Hankook "sports car" tires on my AWD. Not what one would expect on a "flagship" model.
Excellent review
Best looking SUV on the road right now. There.I said it.
Sir, could u please do a video on palisade SEL model. I really like ur way of explanation
when will you have a full update on the Hyundai Palisades??
Undecided please comment your opinions!
Explorer ST or Palisade Limited??
The Wifey picked hers up today same color as this limited. Traded in her Dodge Durango Crew. She loves it .
Your reviews are a lot better than KBB and consumer retort combined. I mean report…:) No full service auto pilot? This SUV should be under 6 secs on 0 — 60 mph. Too slow
The best PALIDICE
I’m sold.
I have a 2008 Mazda, CX9, was thinking about a new CX9 but it looks like Hyundai really wants my money.
Excellent review! Thank you!
I just drove this car this evening. It felt CHEAP and sluggish…Same cheesy tactics that I've heard people mentioning, unpolished salesmen claiming the car is "hot" and they "can't keep them on the lot". My idiot even claimed that Hyundai "underpriced" this car, and that they'll most likely "raise the prices" next year…Total BS. Leaving the sour experience aside, I was not impressed with the car at all. I drove a Q7 a few weeks ago and that car felt and drove like a dream. Yes, it's German and the fear of future repairs kept me from getting it, but the point is that the Palisade looks luxurious at first sight, but IT'S NOT. It is full of plastic, the seat felt like it had gears tilting back (not smooth) and the steering was mediocre at best. This car is made to look like luxury the way cheap vinyl or wallpaper is made to look like wood. I'll take another look at the Audi, or if I want reliability, the best…LEXUS.If you pay MSRP or higher you're a complete idiot and deserve to be parted with your money.
Reliability rating is a 3 and a half stars on KBB pretty good! Might pick up the SEL trim
Love your reviews Alex. I however do think that when you comment on vehicles towing ability you should broaden your comments a little, I know that you tow and that's one of the reasons you'd bought your Durrango. With Pallisade you rightly point out that it can tow 5000lb but it may be useful to add for viewers like myself that the vehicle does not come with and indeed cannot be fitted with a 7 pin connector by Hyundai and that you'd have to have a specialist trailer shop fix this for you, not something that some folks would want all the hassle with when buying a vehicle.
Hi AlexI noticed you never followed up with a test at home, same with Sorento. Any plans to do it
I'm in the market and the Palisade is one I'm considering. Thank, great review.
This is one beast I'll like to take on a long road trip. Top picked on crash test as well. What's not to like? Great review Alex.
When does an SUV become a van? The Pallisade is that vehicle.
So no more Sante Fe?
Palisade is my preference, sits closer to the ground and is narrower than the Telluride. I also like the fact that they come with auto leveling rear suspension as standard equipment.
I love this SUV but no auto dimming driver and passanger mirrors!! The rearview mirror auto dims but not the external mirrors:(
Did you ever measure the cabin noise ? How is it compared to the Telluride and Pilot ?
Had a Hyundai Vera Cruz for 6 years and it was on par with our current Genesis. The Vera Cruz was my wife’s favorite vehicle ever. We are going to test drive a Palisade this weekend and I hope my wife like this one as much as she liked the Vera Cruz.
Can you get intertainment tv in head rest for 2n row
I don't understand the lack of seating conform for the passenger on this model and others like the genesis ,Hyundai must not care for the passengers comfort while on a long road trip . This should be included with this model or made as a option from the builder of this vehicle.I will be contacting Hyundai about this lack of comfort .we are looking at other vehicles now and will not buy this model because of the seating for the passenger in the front .Bad choice Hyundai you need to get with providing comfort with the same features as the driver to get me to buy one. Thanks for your video on this vehicle Alex
I'm waiting to see if Toyota's new 2020 Highlander is a real step forward or just another revamp of their old, Highlander. Hopefully, Toyota is moving forward and being an older Highlander owner, we'll be more than happy to buy another one; if not this Palisade is looking amazingly luxurious for a mainstream vehicle.
If that's Napa leather, my Fusion must have had AutoZone leather.
Alex did you ever find out the cabin noise levels ? Wondering if this is as quiet as the Telluride or the Pilot ?
You always provide the most thorough review of vehicles. I've learned so much here.
13:53 this vehicle has 1111miles on the odometer… :))
We have had Lincoln Navigators, Lincoln MKX, Ford Explorer Limited and now own the Hyundai Palisade. We could not be more pleased with the Palisade. It's a tremendously equipped luxurious SUV that I don't think can be surpassed for the same money. We have the Limited version which offers all you could want in a vehicle.
I like almost everything about it except the shifter and fog lights, so for those reasons I would get the Kia Telluride.
This was a great review. Thanks
Do you know if Alcon brakes are available as an option? I know it is in Korea.
What would you say is comparable to a Lincoln nautilus Reserve?
Ever tested on road fully loaded? Say 7 passenger and towing 4500 lbs camping trailer. Had enough power and handling characteristics?
I had the Santa fe XL which I loved, but i watched this vehicle back when it was named "Grand Master" back then I knew it would be a great midsize SUV. I got a SEL trim w/ convenient, premium package w/ bench for a true 8 passenger. Best decision for a vehicle I made😊🎼🎶🎶🎶🎵
Hyundai and Kia are killing it. Teaching Toyota, Honda, Chevy and Ford and all the rest how to build quality at and affordable price. That being said bring back the diesel engine damm it.
Alex coming from a Hyundai family of 7 cars wheel of this vehicle. But going into retirement we might think that it is too big. We just need to be able to tow about two four-wheelers or a snowmobile. We will look at the Honda Passport but we don't want to get into a pickup truck. Best review so far is yours Alex. 👌
