  1. Hyundai USA continually refused to offer any help/compensation on the extensive problems we have had with the new Hyundai Palisade. Just search Palisade for interior smell (garlic) and wind noise on google. You should never need to visit the dealer 4 times for the same problem before you get to 1400 miles. Service engine light for Evaporative Emission System leak. The only thing we requested was an extended warranty/service plan. There is a lot of problems with this new model and we are concerned about the future. Corporate assign a representative (Paige) for Case#: 17148959 she was basically useless. She said up front there is not much they will do. From the start I was nothing more then a problem she needed to get off her books. Received a message from her that said basically sorry about your luck. Hyundai world may be a good company but here in the USA they do not stand by their product. Just received a call from the representative that they have noticed the extensive reviews I have been placing online, Facebook and youtube videos about Hyundai USA. Offered apologies but still a response of SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK. I said I will continue to warn consumers about Hyundai.

  2. When I first saw the Palisade I thought it was the Elephant Man of SUV's, but the front grill is starting to grow on me and I actually kind of like it now. One big concern is the excessive wind noise that some people are reporting, and why doesn't it offer auto folding side mirrors like the Telluride? Best to wait for the Genesis GV80 if you can afford one.

  3. I’ve read several reviews where after about 3 months there’s a loud wind noise in the palisade as if a window is open. They take it to Hyundai and when they get it back Hyundai says it’s the panoramic sunroof, they fixed it the best they can but owner says it’s no better. Owner takes it to another Hyundai location and gets same response when they pick up. Saw another review that when driving on highway the sunroof shattered and flew off. This seems like a fabulous vehicle with so many upgrades for its class, but I’m afraid to buy a vehicle that’s supposed to have a quiet ride and 3 months in it has a loud wind noise. Have any of you heard of this happening? Seems like the sunroof needs to be a recall and installed better.

  4. I really love the Palisade, and thank gosh I'm getting one next year.

Also the interior takes some styling cues from Mercedes-Benz as well. Palisade > Telluride, I love the Telluride too, but the Palisade is simply amazing. Imagine if they decided to make an N Line Palisade(IDK why they would) , wouldn't that be good?

  5. Gorgeous SUV. I love it! Interior is a HUGE improvement over the Santa Fe. I'm 5 ft 3 1/2, and i could fit in the 3rd row with plenty of head room, and nice leg room when I sat in it at the Cleveland Auto Show last week. You can't deny that Hyundai has done a great job improving its quality in all of its vehicles.

  6. Going to kick my butt for not waiting on the white was told as far as 6 months out but I needed one this week had been waiting for a month to no good news. I got the black with the lite tan. Beautiful two tone interior it’s gorgeous. Love it. It’d 50k dollar bill. But go big or go home. Grandkids approved they loved it. Was gorgeous

  7. To all the people saying, "I'd rather have an Aviator, Navigator, Tahoe, Escalade, Expedition, etc." Well… Uhm… Yes, but that's kind of what Hyundai is hoping you'd say. You watch this review and immediately compare the Palisade to those MUCH more expensive vehicles which are in another class. So if Hyundai has you thinking that way, I think they did their job. I haven't seen any comments that say, "I'd rather take an Explorer, Acadia, Traverse, Pilot, Pathfinder, Highlander, etc," which are the Hyundai Palisade's ACTUAL competitors. So, yea, if you can comfortably afford a $100,000 vehicle, of course, get the Navigator. It's clearly superior. But if you want a great vehicle from a mainstream brand with a mainstream price (literally less than half the price of a Navigator) and a few luxury features, then this is a great buy. I think this is an AMAZING vehicle for the price, but if you can easily afford a Black Label Navigator or Aviator and you choose to buy this instead, I'm gonna have to slap you myself! Shoot… Even the president of Hyundai would probably slap you! Lol

  8. My only problem with all SUVs at this point is that all of them have the same issues.. they all look alike and not one aside from the 4runner is actually capable off-road, which doesn’t seem particularly sporty to me.. Not to mention they are ungodly expensive, the average American salary hasn’t increased in over 30 years, yet cars are triple the cost they were 30 years ago..

  9. Wife bought one a few weeks ago. Its actually a very nice comfortable ride! I wasnt expecting much, but have been impressed so far.
Weve had gmc Yukon Denali ( cheapest made vehicle i have ever had)
    Audi…. I love my Audi!
If the Palisade doesnt fall apart, its a lot of vehicle for the $$

  10. It looks like an Infinity. Didn't anyone learn from the Jeep Cherokee and it's weird squinty eyed running lights where the normal headlights should go. Meanwhile what you think are fog lamps actually are the headlights

  11. Great value as both Hyundai and Kia. Also happy to hear that Kia manufacturers in Georgia USA. The one complaint after test driving would be that it feels much slower than comparative V6 Honda Pilots, Toyota Highlanders, and Turbo-4 Subaru Ascents. But the price is right!

  12. Too bad Hyundai didn't equip the very capable Dynamax AWD system on the Palisade/Telluride instead they got greedy and slapped on a cheap Fake Brake AWD. Hyundai has been using Dynamax AWD on many vehicles for many years they also have a really good in house developed Genisis HTRAC that they didn't use on the Palisade/Telluride by taking this low AWD tech cheap road its a Deal Breaker for me.
