In Canada, the top trim of the Palisade, is the Ultimate, is the most popular option, accounting for 50 per cent of Palisade sales. Now the new trim will be called Calligraphy, for the USA viewers the trim will be called calligraphy. The 2021 Palisade Calligraphy is a step up from the Ultimate trim with upgrades outside and inside, don’t be too excited, not too many.
Here are the exterior changes: intricate silver and black 20-inch alloy wheels, a new front grille fascia, puddle lamps, lower door garnishes, a high and wide rear brake light, and signature lighting arrangements front and rear, all of which are exclusive to the Calligraphy. The headlights receive a tiny middle light to sort of connect the massive long headlight which looks totally out of place in my opinion.
Pricing for the Palisade Calligraphy $54,699 in Canada and $47,750 in the US.

What do you guys think of the new Palisade Calligraphy?
Rear entertainment units are history once you can get a decent tablet with great screen and memory for $250. Amazon even sells straps to hold it at the back of the seat. Thats a total of $500 plus some straps. I don’t see a reason for paying an entertainment package separately, unless the system comes standard on a trim level but not add on such as Honda Pilot Elite.
This type of suv missing also the power folding mirror just in canada international they got it wth ?!?!
Hyundai should have made the side mirrors automatically folding and the fact that the Calligraphy trim doesn't have wireless Android Auto/Apple Car Play is ridiculous. The rims on this trim are ugly too. Otherwise this SUV is awesome!!!
Did not like this video at all.
I would suggest on calligraphy trim , Hyundai should have the option of the wheels , more colors of the leather or folding the side mirror .
Personally i like it, i have been leaning towards the Ford Explorer Limited or the Lincoln Aviator but this is actually nicer for less money. yeah sure, there are a couple things that bug me but they are small, when you compare apples to apples, this is a better value for your money than anything else in the same class and for a depreciating asset, id rather keep my money in my account rather than spending on a vehicle.
I am 100% a Ford guy and have been buying ford since 2007 with the exception of 2018 when i got my Lincoln (basically a Ford)
but now, i really like this Hyundai in this trim level. As much as I like Ford, my loyalty is with my bank account not a manufacturer, especially on an asset that depreciates. My other option was the 2021 Volvo XC 90 or the 2021 redesigned Acura MDX
But yes, i am VERY interested in the 2021 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and the dealership is not far from my house and they do have the best standard warranty in the country.
I just purchased a 2021 Palisade Calligraphy last week. Really enjoying it. I was bummed to find out it doesn't have Wireless Apple Car play when the 2 base models do. I guess the size of the display may have something to do with it.
For an "upgrade" to the Calligraphy they went out of their way to find the ugliest wheels while retaining the features of the Limited/Ultimate at a higher price. Great job, Hyundai.
Entertainment systems? Buy the kids a couple of iPads. They can take them in the house with them. It's a great 3-row SUV … you guys are just nit-picking it to death. Thank you for the video though.
Very disappointing that 8 passenger seating is not offered
Great review keep it up!
Great video. I like the new Calligraphy. One other thing missing that you didn't mention is that the Palisade still doesn't have power folding mirrors. like the Telluride.
Yes great
