The Hyundai Palisade has officially landed in Australia and in this video, Amelia introduces us to some of the main features the 2021 Hyundai Palisade will have to offer us.
The Palisade is the biggest, most spacious, and most accommodating SUV that Hyundai has ever offered. In terms of design, it was primarily aimed at the American market. It is big and bold, with pronounced features and an unapologetic presence. Officially a mid-size SUV, it slots in just a notch under 5 m in length and is available as either a 7 or 8 seater. That puts the Palisade up against the likes of the Toyota Kluger or Mazda CX-9.
The beautiful cascading grille takes the spotlight at the front which also hosts slim headlights and upright LED DRLs.
The power comes in two forms, a 3.8 V6 Atkinson cycle petrol and a 2.2 turbo diesel. It can also be 2WD or 4WD, the former option driving the front wheels. The 3.8-litre V6 has 213kW and 355Nm of torque and FWD, while the 2.2 four-pot diesel aims for low down push and economy with 147kW and 440Nm sent to all four wheels. The towing capacity of 2.3 tonnes. Both engines are paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.
We will be doing a full review of the Palisade later this year so stay tuned for that.

Left hand side steering wheel for Australia?
Is it right hand or left-hand drive???
The australian one only gets a partially digital cockpit with analog dials vs the fully digital cockpit that the US version has? Such a joke — australia gets the dregs of the car market.
mele lov u
Disgusting car… it's like a fart towards nature
Did you drive it?
Big difference in an Australian car review and an overseas car review with an Australian accent.. bit sad really..
Finally! It's here!
Very german-ish..audi-ish dash
great review where was this video filmed?
How does this compare to the Santa Fe..? with the new model due for release soon
Most importantly when will it be available for a test drive in Australia? As scheduled, will it be on December 2020? I dont think so.,
the blonde needs a quiet button, big time
How about Telluride? No plan for this car in Australia?
Love your reviews!
Looks unique its like an ecalade
Wow
Not really 100% sold on Hyundai's and Kia's new design direction. Taking design queues from the American market is not usually a good thing. The Palisade does seem a bit bland on the exterior. And it that's a top spec model the lower spec ones are sure to be even less attractive.
Oh look it's wrong hand drive. Will it be available in right hand drive?
A Busy week three cars back to back with awesome hosts
Very nice Hyundai 😀👍
Amelia AND Simone in one video… what's not to like?
Still reviewing the Left Hand Drive model from a couple of months back?
Big families (& others) will love this SUV. Wonder what prices will be.
Looking forward to full review
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is done at Macquarie park wasn’t it?
2.2 l deisel might be lethargic for a car this big. i have the same engine in my kia sorento.
At least this looks less like one has given up on life completely. Seating for eight! This really is one for the breeders, one more kid and they'll need a bus licence. Well done Hyundai for putting a decent engine in it so it will actually move it's fat ass off the lights but I pretty much guarantee most plebs will get the stupid diesel and get in our way. Better still, have less kids, buy a smaller car and help save the planet…
Amelia is the best. I love the way they say Hyundai hehe. The car is.. pretty nice.
I really like, what Hyundai-Kia do currently.
Not my kind of car … but with you as the presenter Amelia, the review is entertaining, fun and charming. 👍
When is this vehicle going to be launched in india
Wow! A double impact with Amelia AND Simone in the same video? Even as short as the video is that's still great. That Palisade is very impressive and it seems that many here stateside think so as well. PLENTY of them prowling the streets and highways of Salt lake City, Utah.
Striking, unique and feature packed. Hyundai delivers again with the Palisade
Bigger than Santa Fe? Definitely coming down under?
Very plush with lots of features and tech! I'm impressed! 🙂
