  1. Don't trust the computer read out on mpg…my 2018 Sorento AWD FE 3.3 liter is about 3 mpg's less then the computer read out. I keep detailed info on all my cars…from fill up to fill up ( miles driven divided by fuel replaced ) is the only way to be sure…Maybe 15 in the city. and never over 26 on the highway at different speed, .going over 75 mph seems to use more fuel….I like to keep it around 2000 rpm's and just under 70 mph…

  2. Hyundai USA continually refused to offer any help/compensation on the extensive problems we have had with the new Hyundai Palisade. Just search Palisade for interior smell (garlic) and wind noise on google. You should never need to visit the dealer 4 times for the same problem before you get to 1400 miles. Service engine light for Evaporative Emission System leak. The only thing we requested was an extended warranty/service plan. There is a lot of problems with this new model and we are concerned about the future. Corporate assign a representative (Paige) for Case#: 17148959 she was basically useless. She said up front there is not much they will do. From the start I was nothing more then a problem she needed to get off her books. Received a message from her that said basically sorry about your luck. Hyundai world may be a good company but here in the USA they do not stand by their product. Just received a call from the representative that they have noticed the extensive reviews I have been placing online, Facebook and youtube videos about Hyundai USA. Offered apologies but still a response of SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK. I said I will continue to warn consumers about Hyundai.

  3. the look of the palisade is way nicer than the telluride i think . telluride looks like a wanna be range rover i love the range rover but the telluride looks like it got cut off at the back with a huge machete lol ! palisade all the way especially the calligraphy model [thumbs up]

  4. Yes, VERY subjective.

But that's why I like what the Hyundai Motor Group did with Kia. They made sure that both designs went different ways. One with a more truck-like, beefy look, and the other had more curves and a somewhat elegant appearance. Something for both groups — granted the only downside is if you like something about the interior of the Palisade and yet you like the exterior of the Telluride (or vice versa ) ~ Not much you can do about that conundrum.

I actually don't mind Kia's take on it but I do prefer the Palisade.

  5. For those of you who played and remember this — the lane detection beeping reminds me almost exactly of the notification beep from the old late 90's Roller Coaster Tycoon PC game.
Thought that was pretty funny. hahaha

  6. Is there a smell? We are looking for a larger SUV I currently drive the Volvo XC40 so this was one of our options. But now that people are complaint about the smell of the seats it’s a turn off.
